We sat down with Jon Najarian in August to discuss how he got into the trading business. Originally an architecture major at Cal Berkeley, Jon wanted to play professional football in Chicago. Instead, he found himself doing what his sports agent did part time—trading options. Like most option traders Jon will trade liquid securities; he doesn’t check into “roach motels” where a trader “pays up to check in and pays up to check out.” Watch and learn as Jon explains why he is almost always an option buyer (as opposed to an option seller) and how he uses his proprietary Heat Seeker to find opportunities.
